What is this?

The Autumn Slim Down Challenge is a 6-week motivation and support group looking to shed pounds and grow friendships. Participants will be placed into groups randomly. And there will be daily challenges.

How do groups work?

Groups are just another tool participants can use for greater chances of success. Amount of members per group will vary based on how many people want to join.

In your group, you would have a better chance of developing friendships while giving and gaining motivation from your teammates. 

What kinds of challenges?

At the beginning of each week, I’ll post challenges that vary from diet changes, switching up workouts, motivating others, and talking about personal experiences on varying topics. 

The reason I’m posting them at the beginning of the week is because I want everyone to get a heads up so they can plan ahead. Whether they plan ahead to make sure they can participate or alter challenges in advance so there’s no last minute “I cants”.

Scale: 176 lbs(weighed in on 2/7/14) (Removed the scale for July)

Drinks: 2 - 20oz coffee with sugar in the raw, 2 - 20oz green tea with honey, 1 - 20ozwater

Workout: Walking while back unkinks itself.

Breakfast: 2 slices whole wheat toast with peanut butter; almond milk

Shuttle bus: Not taken, then taken

Stairs: 3 flight

Lunch: Edemame, blueberry Greek yogurt, banana, apple

Dinner: Naan pizza - avocado basil pesto sauce and cheese

Dessert: cottage cheese with pineapple; stawberries Adam didn’t finish

Back on Track Challenge:

-Switch the times of your “normal active times” (i.e. if you normally work out in the morning, workout at night. etc) Walked over to the hair salon during lunch when I usually do my work out in the morning.

-make a motivational wall/collage or just even some sticky notes!

I have this put up around my house.

-write about why you started your journey!  I wanna look good naked! LOL That, and take care of the only home I have. ME!

So poor Emma has been getting nagged by her paternal grandmother about senior pictures

Guess it’s time to do research as to who will shoot them and what she’ll wear. She really wants to wear a black tux and strut around. I think she would look awesome like that too. Loafers, vest, tie, hair slicked back, shades, etc. You know, the works!

I would also like to something softer and vibrant. Full of color. You know? Something that flows making her ethereal. Perhaps something she could also wear for Prom? Almost like the answer to the tuxedo shots. The stunning evening gown shots!

What do you think, Miss Emma? If not, that’s cool too. I know this is suppose to be about you, but remember why you’re doing it :-P
