Today’s Superhero Workout of the Day is based off of:

There we go! That’s more like it! In celebration of the new movie (in which I still haven’t seen yet) and in honor of my bestie for life: Ernie!
What is there to say about the Man of Steel except for the fat that he surely is one tough cookie? Now, I’m not saying that the following workout will allow you to be shot with a bullet or run faster than a speeding train (nor would I suggest that you try either), but it will make you feel like a badass.
For today’s workout, you’re going to need weights or like a water jug or something a little bit heavier than just a water bottle if you can find it. This is the workout that Henry Cavill really used for his roll in Superman. It was created by Mark Twilight, the same man that came up with the workout for the guys of 300.

Workout
Goblet Squat - 25 reps
take 8 controlled breaths in and out your nose, but don’t move
kettlebell swing - 25 reps
take 8 controlled breaths in and out your nose, but don’t move
Burpees - 25 reps
take 8 controlled breaths in and out your nose, but don’t move
Jumping jacks - 25 reps
take 8 controlled breaths in and out your nose, but don’t move
Repeat 3 times (total of four times).
Don’t forget to breathe!
